Storm Structure Maintenance and Repair in Indianapolis, Indiana
HCE supports ongoing storm structure maintenance and repair projects in Indianapolis, Indiana as a subcontractor for Indy Excavating and Utilities (IEU). Since April 2025, our team has completed more than 100 projects across the greater Indianapolis area, maintaining and restoring critical stormwater infrastructure.
Our scope of work includes:

Inlet repair and replacement – Removing deteriorated structures, installing new precast inlets, and sealing joints for long-term performance

Basin repair and replacement – Rebuilding stormwater basins to restore capacity and prevent erosion and flooding

Manhole repair and rehabilitation – Raising structures to grade, reforming with brick, sealing leaks, and replacing damaged rings and covers

Concrete demolition and replacement – Removing existing concrete and forming and pouring new high-strength curbs, roadways, and sidewalks

Traffic control and jobsite safety – Maintaining safe and efficient work zones in active roadways and residential areas
This work includes coordinated underground utility installation, structure repair, and surface restoration, helping maintain proper drainage and extend the life of storm systems throughout Indianapolis.
Our team also coordinates with site preparation and grading where required to maintain proper elevations and ensure effective water flow across each project.
Materials and debris were managed through coordinated dump truck hauling services to maintain efficient jobsite operations.
